They seem to have bond amongst themselves. Having lived in Jeddah over a decade consisting three genarations:70’s,80’s and 90’s ,thought to dedicate this page for expatriates. Areas to Live in for expatriates
Uttara
This is a an independent area’ in Dhaka. It is self sufficient with no need for residents to come to central Dhaka. It is near the Airport.
Distance :4.3 Kilometers.
Rent range:12000 BDT-starts.
Gulshan
The central place for all expatriates to meet. It has a different environment where you won’t feel it is Dhaka. An expensive area and where grand hotels like Westin and great restaurants are located.
Rent Starts at :40,000 BDT
Banani
Just next to Gulshan. Walking distance and quite cheaper than Gulshan. Still one the posh areas in Dhaka.
